Coface is present in Russia since 1992.
Today Coface operates in the country via two subsidiaries, both owned by Coface S.A. (France). They are:
- Coface Rus Insurance Company ZAO (Insurance license C #4209 77 issued by FSSN on May 17th, 2010)
- Coface Rus Services Company Ltd.
Coface has at least 300 clients in Russia: small- and medium-sized businesses, top Russian production and trade companies, financial institutions, representative offices of foreign firms, and multinational corporations.
The highly-qualified Coface team (60 employees in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg) provides credit risk assessment and insurance services, business information on local and foreign firms, corporate debt recovery and prevention services. All the services offered are based on the unique databases and technologies Coface has as well as on extensive experience and expertise of Coface experts and underwriters.
